I did a really fun shoot with my sister, her fiance and his sister on Sunday and it turned out really great because we had a ton of snow, which added that extra fun element! They are giving the storyboard and an album to Nate and Gina’s grandparents in Korea because they don’t get to see them very often. Plus, what do you give me somebody who already has everything?? Custom Photography!!! So, I stayed up late Sunday night sorting, retouching, designing and ordering and crossed my fingers and hoped that they would arrive on Tuesday with a whole day to sort through everything before they left. Well, I called yesterday and it was still at the lab, in Minnesota!!!! Uh oh! So, I had them overnight it and they said that it would arrive between 6-8:30am and somebody needed to be there to sign for it. I told my sister not to worry because as soon as the FedEx man comes, I will drive 20 minutes to the airport and drop it off to you. Well, I got up this morning at 5:45am to wait for the FedEx man, and it was a little hard to get up because I had stayed up until 2am emailing back and forth with my friend who is designing my new client sales/gallery area…more on that later. So, 6am comes, then 7am, then 8am….starting to really panic at this point. So, I go online to so I can track my shipment and it tells me that it’s at the warehouse and it’s scheduled to be delivered at 10:30am!! This is NOT good, Megan, Nate and Gina are waiting at the airport for a flight to South Korea that leaves at 10:30am!!!!!! So I told the FedEx lady to hold the package and I would drive to their facility and pick it up and then drive to the airport and drop it off. So, I head 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the airport to the FedEx facility, get lost, find my way again and finally get the package in my own two hands. Huge Relief!! Well, it’s now 9:30am and they are leaving for Korea in 1 hour!! I booked it down to the airport in record time and made the hand off to Gina, who luckily works at the airport and made the hand off easy. I literally threw the storyboard and pictures at her through the window so she could run off and not miss her plane…all with 45 minutes until take off. Phew, I’m tired and need a nap now.

I would like to thank my iPhone GPS for not being helpful at all
My mom for mapquesting me directions
And the lady at FedEx who told me to turn Left onto Roswell Road instead of Right. (that cost me 20 min)

I hope his grandparents like the pictures, especially after going through all of that!
